About Activate by Code

Activate by Code is an independent resource that explains activation codes in plain English: what they are, how the "enter a code" sign-in works, whether it is safe, and how to activate apps across streaming devices, game consoles and smart-home gear.

We are not a streaming service and we activate nothing on your behalf. We never ask for your password, and we never charge to activate — activation is always free on the service's own website. Our goal is simply to make a confusing step clear and safe.
